We hope that the information on our site will help make your visit to us an enjoyable experience. We are the only South Auckland Radiology Practice providing MRI and CT.  Our services will help you and your medical professional diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses. We are local radiologists with individual sub-speciality expertise and offer a rapid access to high quality private and ACC radiology. We are easily contactable and would be happy to discuss any aspects of radiology imaging as required.

If you have medical insurance you can avoid lengthy waits for your scan in the public system as we can scan you within a short timeframe - often on the same or following day after receipt of your referral.

BACKGROUND

Manukau Radiology was established in 1994 and began conducting MRI investigations in March 1995, with the first MRI 1.5 Tesla scanner to be installed in New Zealand. A purpose built building was designed for the special requirements of MRI investigations. We updated our MRI machine to a 1.5T (high field) Sonata Magnetom in 2003. In 2005 we obtained a Siemens 16 slice CT.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide the highest possible standard  of diagnostic medical imaging to our referring doctors  and their patients, with a service that is accurate, timely, reliable, accessible and with a friendly personal touch.

Our excellent patient satisfaction surveys confirm that we are meeting that standard.

LOCATION

We are located on the southern edge of Middlemore Hospital with an all weather covered entrance with wheelchair access and ample onsite and adjacent free parking. As we situated close to both the Southern and the South-West motorways, access to our facility is extremely easy. You can find directions on the Contact Us page.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

The expertise of our staff is the basis of our high quality of clinical service. The team from Manukau Radiology has broad experience across a range of disciplines. Some of our Radiologists and other staff have worked at Manukau Radiology Ltd since its inception

We have a patient centred service, strong professional ethic and efficient clerical staff to get results to referrers in a timely fashion. We are able to accept urgent patients who require scans within a day or so.

An IANZ accredited radiology practice in CT & MRI, Manukau Radiology Ltd is committed to the highest standards of quality. Our quality management system complies with the requirements of the NZ Code of Radiology Management Practice ensuring that our quality standards are able to be maintained as our practice grows and new technology is acquired.
